A musical reminiscence of the significant composer personality of the 20th century – Vitězslava Kaprálová. The varied programme will introduce first-classs soloists as well as chamber groups from the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia and Slovakia together with The Kapralova Society from Canada.

A Memory in Music of the Terezín Composers (CZE, POL, SVK)

BRUNDIBÁR and LETTERS FROM TEREZÍN

The conceptual programme created in cooperation with the Terezín Memorial will include the Brundibár opera, written by Hans Krása, as well as works of other composers who lived and died by music. The evening will feature a world premiere of the melodrama by Zuzana Michlerová based on collected letters from the Terezín ghetto. Performers: Norbert Lichý, the Permoník choir, an orchestra featuring professional artists, students and pupils of music schools in Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and many other countries.
